What We Do.

Brake Repair Service

Brake repair specialists at our shop understand how important it is to keep the drivers in Champaign safe by maintaining the braking system of your vehicle. After a certain number of miles, the brakes will wear down. Our brake repair team will inspect the brake lines for leaks while also observing the condition of the brake discs or drums.

We can develop a plan for brake repair work that meets your needs. There can be many different signs indicating that your vehicle requires brake repair work. For example, the brake hoses could have leaks, or the brake pads might become soft. Get the brake repair work done immediately to prevent your car from becoming a road hazard.

Oil Change

Regular oil changes protect your engine from corrosion, damage, overheating and other ailments. Maintaining the engine is critical for extending the total working life of your vehicle. This requires you to stay on top of the oil changes. In reality, oil change services are part of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program that involves other fluids, inspections and air filter changes.

The oil change is just the most critical part of this process. Make an appointment today for an oil change if you’ve neglected the vehicle. Each vehicle will have a manufacturer’s recommendation for the proper intervals for oil changes, but it’s normally between 5,000 to 7,000 miles.

Check Engine Light

The check engine light is a critical part of your engine’s early warning system. Never ignore the check engine light when it turns on because the check engine light usually indicates that a serious problem exists. It’s important to find out why the check engine light is turning on.

For example, the engine could be misfiring, and this issue makes the check engine light become active. However, a faulty gas cap can also trigger the check engine light sensor. Our service team can find out the real reason why your check engine light is becoming activated.

Tune-ups

The engine tune-ups are part of a complete preventative maintenance program. The vehicle should be brought in to the shop for tune-ups periodically.

During these tune-ups, we change the spark plugs or clean them after a certain number of miles.

For older models, tune-ups might include checking the distributor cap and rotor. These vehicles might still require tune-ups from a mechanic with knowledge of carburetor systems.

Fuel Injection Cleaning

Your fuel injection system is responsible for providing the correct amount of fuel at the optimal time to provide you with the performance that you expect out of your vehicle. If your fuel delivery system is dirty, it adversely effects gas mileage, acceleration, and overall performance.

Batteries

Your electrical system is the nerve system of your vehicle. It tells which components to come on at which time. At the center of this nerve system is your battery. This is what supplies small electrical current to control systems and to keep settings stored when the vehicle is not running. It is also integral to supplying the initial current to power your starter to start your vehicle.

Air Filter Replacement

One of the key components to any combustion engine is a good quality constant air source. Without the air, your vehicle does not run. A dirty air filter will cause your vehicle to perform poorly. You can see a drop in gas mileage, sluggish acceleration, and limited performance. Keep your vehicle in top performance by making sure your air filter is clean!

Suspension, Shocks, & Struts

Ride quality is controlled by your suspension system which is made up of several smaller systems. Replace your shocks & struts so you get that silky smooth ride you want out of your car. Your suspension is also an integral part in your steering.

 Four Wheel Drive Systems

With so many uses for a four wheel drive vehicle, keep yours in tip top shape by making sure your differentials, transfer case, and drive shafts are all serviced at regular intervals.
